Here I will review some of the products. I have personally been using AMSOIL products for years. I or someone I know personally will have used every product shown below.

THE BREAD AND BUTTER

AMSOIL O.E. AMSOIL X.L. AMSOIL SIGNATURE SERIES

Callie is waiting for your call!

Callie says come on by and see her if you need AMSOIL today, I am a well stocked dealer in Central Brevard County FL. Call Us. 321-626-6695

If you prefer to order directly from AMSOIL and have it shipped to your door click HERE. I live in central Brevard county, the AMSOIL warehouse is in Orlando. My experience is that if you order on the weekend you get your box on Tuesday. If you order on a weekday morning by around 10 am. you get your box the next day. Some filters (not all) come from another state and take a little longer. As I said this is because of how close Brevard is to Orlando, this is not an official delivery estimate from AMSOIL just my experience.

ASMOIL O.E.

AMSOIL O.E. oil is 100% synthetic and is designed for use in conjunction with your cars computer. I used this in my parents cars, they didn’t drive much so their oil change reminder never lit up . Being 100% synthetic I never worried about any sludge forming because AMSOIL can take the heat!

AMSOIL X.L.

AMSOIL X.L. is the oil I sell the most of. I can install this in a customers car or truck, when the oil change light comes on they call me. I ask them the mileage on the car, figure out the average miles they have been driving per week and determine how much longer they can go before the next service. (this is an extended use oil) For example I may say they can go two more months, then about two weeks before the time for service arrives I send a reminder to them so we can schedule a time that fits THEIR schedule. This oil is a great choice for turbocharged engines.

AMSOIL SIGNATURE SERIES

AH…… Now you may becoming an enthusiast like me! I have read articles that have said this is probably the best oil that is readily available to the average consumer on the planet! Yes, there are a few (very few) other oils that come close to this level of performance but they are harder to find and MORE EXPENSIVE . Most likely they are brands the average consumer has never heard of. Al Amatuzio, the founder of AMSOIL put a 25,000 mile service life on this oil in 1972 and that has remained on the oil since then. As I have mentioned elsewhere on this site, OIL FILTERS on modern cars are much smaller than they used to be and simply can’t match that service interval. If you drive a lot of miles per year, this oil can save you time (and money) because your oil service is done less frequently. If you have a child going off to college and you can’t keep tabs on the car as much as you would like, this is the oil for you. This oil also has a very strong additive package that offers 75% better wear protection and cleans 50% better than AMSOIL O.E. oil.

European oils

AMSOIL European oils (There are 6 to choose from) contain additives that European cars need to protect their emissions systems from damage. These are robust oils that can stand up to the extended drain intervals of the European manufacturers and the stress of turbocharging. Callie has been consulting the owners manual and agrees with the oil that was suggested in the AMSOIL vehicle look-up guide. You can check out the look-up guide by clicking here.

AMSOIL TRANSMISSION FLUID

READ THIS ONE!

I personally use AMSOIL O.E. transmission fluid in my Ford F150.

This goes back several years to a time before I was an AMSOIL DEALER, even before I was a preferred customer. A friend of mine had a buddy of his that was having trouble with his engine over heating when he towed his trailer. My first job was in a shop and I installed trailer hitches, electric brake wiring, and transmission coolers. I guess that because of this they thought I was transmission expert or something. So the three of us got together and investigated what the problem could be. The truck had already had the radiator flushed and new coolant and thermostat. The truck already had a small aftermarket transmission cooler installed properly in front of the radiator. We checked to see if the fluid was flowing properly thru the transmission cooler that was built into the radiator as well as the aftermarket one and everything was looking good. This guy was worried he may have a bad torque converter or some internal problem. He said that everything seemed okay except for the overheating when he was towing. If I remember correctly the truck had about 60k miles on it. I asked if the transmission fluid had ever been changed, it had not. I had heard stories that AMSOIL SIGNATURE SERIES transmission fluid would make your transmission run considerably cooler so I said before he takes it to a shop we should try changing the fluid. Fast forward to the next weekend because nobody carried that stuff in stock. We dropped the transmission pan, replaced the filter put the pan back on and filled it up with AMSOIL SIGNATURE SERIES fluid. This procedure only replaced about half of the fluid in the transmission but it took care of his problem!! This truck only had “dummy” lights, not gauges so I have no idea what the drop in temp was. It seemed like we got to that problem in time because he had no more issues with that truck until he sold it. Changing your transmission fluid won’t fix a broken transmission, but it can make your transmission run cooler which will make it last longer.

THE MORAL OF THIS STORY IS Yes, the AMSOIL SIGNATURE SERIES fluid is not cheap however…………….. a fluid that is a little bit more expensive cost a lot less than even a CHEAP MECHANIC !!!!

This is a transmission temp gauge. This is AMSOIL SIGNATURE SERIES transmission fluid.

If you tow frequently, or tow heavy and generate extra heat in your transmission, this fluid WILL reduce the temp of your transmission. The side effect will be a transmission that last longer. This is one of my favorite products because you don’t have to use it for 200,000 miles to see if it made a difference. You change your fluid and hook up to your trailer and see the results instantly! It’s available by clicking here. Be sure to enter your vehicle info into the Amsoil lookup guide and get the proper fluid for your vehichle! Or you can call me 321-626-6695 and get it in Brevard county Fl. today!

MIRACLE WASH

I personally use and love this product. Everyone I have recommended this product to loves it. Spray it on, wipe it off. You don’t have to wash your car first. (Within reason, don’t spray it on top of mud after you’ve been out 4-wheeling). You don’t have to wax your car afterwards. It’s all done in one easy step! Let it sit on road tar for 15-20 seconds and wipe it off, it’s that easy! I can do two cars with 1 can and still have a little left over. If you decide to purchase oil from AMSOIL and after you add in your filters you are a little short of the $100 free shipping threshold this a great choice to add on!

Glass Cleaner, Brake and Parts Cleaner

Alright, I’m just being honest. The glass cleaner is the foaming spray can type. It cleans glass, does a good job. I can’t say its any better than the national brand of foaming glass cleaner you can get at the big home improvement stores. Same story on the brake and parts cleaner. What I can say is, that when you become a preferred customer the glass cleaner is CHEAPER than the can at the home improvement store! The parts cleaner works as it should and is the same as what you would pay at an auto parts store. That makes these products great choices if need to beef up your order a little to get FREE SHIPPING!

Mudslinger

Mudslinger’s intended purpose is to make the mud easily fall off of your dirt bike, four wheeler ect. I don’t do those things and have no first hand knowledge of how well it works. It looks like it works good in the videos I’ve seen on YouTube. I have used it to restore the look of plastic. I have found an OFF LABEL use for it, vinyl windows. If the vinyl windows in your house are hard to push up and down just spray on some Mudslinger. Spray some on the window tracks, let it sit for a few minutes, wipe off the excess. It will dry completely and not attract dust or dirt, and your windows will slide easily and quietly.

Engine and Transmission Flush

This is the stuff you may want to consider using if you have a car with some miles on it and you want to switch to an extended life oil. AMSOIL will clean the inside of your engine, if you start with a dirty engine the oil may become dirty prematurely. This also means your oil filter will be getting loaded up. Before you change the oil you pour in a bottle of AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush, let the engine idle for 15 minutes and drain. Let it drain really well, take a break and get a cold drink. Finish the oil change as usual. I have used this several times on various vehicles and more than once ended up with a better sounding car. This product is also used to fight the effects of “TURBO COKING” (oil lines suppling the turbo becoming restricted). AMSOIL 100% Synthetic oils can “take the bake” that turbos dish out! Engine And Transmission Flush should only be used in transmissions when preforming a complete fluid exchange, do not use it if you are only doing a drain and fill.

AMSOIL OIL FILTERS

I know I promised no complicated charts or hard to decipher graphs but in this case a picture is worth a thousand words. AMSOIL filters have a synthetic media designed to filter smaller particles and to hold more contaminates than other leading brands while maintaining proper oil flow. AMSOIL filters achieve 99% efficiency while filtering at 20 microns. Another important part of the filter is the backflow valve. This is the rubber “ring” that you can see thru the little holes around the perimeter of the filter. Oil goes in thru these holes and comes out of the center hole. The purpose of the backflow valve is to keep oil in the filter when the engine is not running. Some lesser filters use a cheaper rubber that can become stiff over time, allowing oil to drain out of the filter. When this happens and you start the car and your oil pump first has to fill the filter while your engine starves for oil. For example Subaru filters are on top of the engine “upside down” and Nissan filters are often mounted sideways, so gravity mixed with an inferior backflow valve could spell trouble. There is a spring inside the filter that allows oil to bypass the filter media if it becomes clogged. These springs are different from one filter to another and designed to bypass the filter media at different P.S.I. based on the automakers specification. This means that just because a filter will physically fit it may not be the correct one for your car. Bottom line is simple, an oil filter is not the place to try and save a couple of bucks.

MOTORCYCLE FILTERS

Continuing from the above subject regarding trying to save a few bucks on an oil filter. It is pretty easy to find a car filter that will fit your motorcycle. If you buy a cheap car filter you could get three or four, in some cases five for the price of just one motorcycle filter. DON’T DO IT!!!! While the motorcycle and car filters work the same way, they ARE different in few ways. The easiest to explain is the bypass valve spring pressure. There is a spring inside the filter that lets oil bypass the filter media if it becomes clogged. Generally a car/light truck filter bypass spring is in the high one digit to low two digit range, motorcycle filter bypass springs are often in the high twenties. Put a car filter on a motorcycle and you could be bypassing the filter media and not filtering the oil at all.

SABER IT’S THE REAL DEAL

WOW ! The screen using AMSOIL had to be used almost 7 times longer just to get something on it for the comparison!!!!

I personally don’t own any two stroke equipment. I Have a friend who has a lawncare service, he has been using Saber for years. Clean screens, clean exhaust ports, easy starting and LESS MAINTENANCE are just some of the things you will get from using this oil. Another is convenience, you mix this oil at 100 to 1 and use it in all your two stroke equipment. Pour it in your 50 to 1, 40 to 1, 100 to 1, it doesn’t matter, one mix ratio covers all your equipment. If you have a lawn service company you don’t have to worry about your employees picking up the wrong gas can because you will only need one! This product is available in a variety of package sizes, 1.5oz pack, 2.6 3.5 6.4 8 12.8 32 oz bottles. 1 gallon jug and even barrels.

AMSOIL HYDROSTATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID

Once again this will not be from my own experience, it will be first hand information from the same friend mentioned in the above SABER review. This is a 100% synthetic fluid that can really take the heat. If you have foaming issues with your fluid then this fluid will be the last one you will need to try. I keep it honest here so the rest of the information is taken from the AMSOIL website. I have absolutely no reason to doubt these claims because it’s the same claims they make for their engine oils. AMSOIL products keep your equipment clean. The anti corrosion and anti wear capabilities of this fluid protect the hydraulic pump from pitting and wear. This will be a factor in how well your zero-turn mower responds, response will be more predictable.
