Less Worry
I started using AMSOIL about 15 years ago. My daughter was getting her first car and was living in the Tampa area and I knew there were times when I couldn’t get my hands on her car often enough to service it. The solution was AMSOIL extended life oils. I didn’t have to worry about how many miles she was driving, I would use the Signature Series oil and install a good filter (important) and if I didn’t see her for a year, at least I wasn’t worried about the car. I had known about AMSOIL since the 1980’s and had always thought of it to be a bit pricey. Since then, car manufacturers have demanded better oils and the big oil companies have been improving their oils trying to keep up with these demands. They were playing catch up to bring their oils up to a level that I feel AMSOIL had already achieved and in many instances even exceeded. This came at a cost and now AMSOIL products are very competitively priced.
Convenience
Think about how convenient it would be to get your oil service only once a year, on your schedule not your cars schedule. Since 1972 AMSOIL has labeled their Signature Series good for up to 25,000 miles. Oil filters on passenger cars can’t handle that and we all know that “up to 25,000 miles” means under ideal driving conditions. Have you ever looked in your owners manual and read what car makers consider to be normal driving conditions? Hardly anybody drives under what is considered to be “normal” conditions, and in the Florida heat nobody does. However, with a high quality filter and using AMSOIL Signature Series oil you can go a year or 15,000 miles and change it on YOUR schedule. If you tow often and/or have a turbo in this Florida heat, knocking off a couple of thousand miles off that figure certainly won’t hurt.
Another example would be AMSOIL XL oil, it has a lower price point than the Signature Series. Put the XL in your car, reset the maintenance reminder. When the maintenance reminder comes back on, instead of driving around with the stress of needing and oil change, you drive around with the confidence that you have the time to get it done on YOUR schedule!
Saves You Money…… What??? REALLY???
Sure, using AMSOIL EXTENDED LIFE oil may cost a few extra dollars, but when you factor in fewer oil changes per year and less of your time getting the oil changed you come out ahead! If you choose to use AMSOIL 100% synthetic O.E. oil which syncs to the oil change reminder in your car, the cost should be very comparable to “premium” oil changes elsewhere.
Commercial use
Sales people, delivery people, real estate agents, Uber/Lyft drivers, electricians, plumbers, construction, you get the idea. Anybody who uses their car for a living can benefit from everything on this entire page. Commercial vehicles typically drive more, idle more, and are used under more severe conditions than your family car. Longer lasting vehicles that have less repairs and downtime save you money.
